Our state-of-the-art facility enables us to do complete steel fabrication on both simple and complex projects.  We can do customized projects such as towers, platforms, rails, heavy flasks, cones, hoppers, doors, mounting plates and more.  We also have a dedicated handrail department. We can provide custom design assistance to meet your needs. With professional engineering support, we will interpret, coordinate and initiate a total project.

FabTrol and the latest computer programs guide all of our operations, including the estimating, detailing, purchasing and production departments. This high-tech approach assures that we furnish quality material – on time – and at a fair price.

Midland Steel Company’s state-of-the-art facility includes a 42,000 square foot shop, a 46,900 square foot storage area with overhead cranes, and a 7,680 square foot office area located on 12.5 acres in Wathena, Kansas, allowing room for future expansion. Founded in 1964, Midland has been at its current location since 1980, undergoing three major expansions since that time.  These expansions have enabled Midland to remain on the forefront as one of the leading Kansas City-area fabricators for nearly 50 years.
